Full job description

As a Receptionist, you’ll be the first point of contact for members and guests. You’ll manage front desk operations, provide outstanding customer service, and help ensure our gym runs smoothly each day.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet members and guests with a warm, friendly attitude
  • Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and assist with memberships
  • Gym clean
  • Check in members using gym software
  • Handle cash/card transactions and manage point-of-sale items (e.g., drinks, merchandise)
  • Keep the reception area clean and organized
  • Schedule appointments or classes
  • Support other staff with administrative tasks as needed
  • Enforce gym policies in a professional and courteous manner

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Friendly, approachable, and dependable
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic computer skills (experience with gym software is a plus)
  • Previous experience in a customer-facing or receptionist role is preferred
  • Interest in fitness/wellness
  • Must be able to lift weights as part of the gym clean
