Dental Assistant/Receptionist position

Weir Views Family Dental is a professional and friendly family dental clinic located in Opalia Plaza. We are growing our team and currently seeking a casual dental assistant/receptionist with the opportunity to move into a permanent part time position.

The successful candidate will commence ASAP. Remuneration will be dependent on the candidate’s experience.

Who we are looking for:

  • Dedicated and committed to high standard of customer service and patient care
  • High level of infection control
  • Competent computer skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task and work with a team
  • Punctual and reliable
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Willingness to learn and undertake further training
  • Dental assisting experience preferred but not essential
  • Able to work a late night and some Saturdays

Key responsibilities

  • Perform sterilization and infection control, maintain surgery hygiene
  • General reception duties; answering phone enquiries/making and confirming appointments and processing payments
  • Dental chair-side assisting
