Recruitment Consultant — Balderson GroupAbout the role

Balderson Group is looking for an experienced Recruiter to join our team on a permanent, full-time basis. This is a direct, in-house role with work-from-home flexibility, based in Perth. You'll own our trades recruitment desk — sourcing, screening and placing skilled mechanical personnel with mining clients across Western Australia. As we continue to grow, there's genuine room to build the function and grow with it.

What you'll be doing

• Source, screen and place qualified tradespeople — Heavy Diesel Fitters, Drill Fitters, Auto Electricians and Servicemen — into surface and underground mining roles
• Build and maintain a strong candidate pipeline through job ads, database search, referrals and direct outreach
• Manage the end-to-end recruitment process: screening, interviews, reference and compliance checks, and onboarding
• Build and maintain relationships with mining and resources clients, understanding their workforce needs
• Keep accurate records in our systems and report on pipeline and placements
• Represent Balderson Group as a first point of contact for candidates

What we're looking for

• Recruitment experience, ideally in trades, resources, mining services or labour hire — or a strong recruiter keen to move into the space
• Confident sourcing and screening skills, with a knack for building rapport quickly
• Self-motivated and well organised, able to juggle multiple roles at once
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Comfortable working autonomously with work-from-home flexibility
• WA-based; current driver's licence

Pay: $60,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year
