Team Leader
Applications & Letting Team – Sydney District | Homes NSW
- Salary: $129k–$142k + super + leave loading
- Location: Strawberry Hills (Sydney District)
- Temporary opportunity with potential to become ongoing

Your role
Step into a key leadership role where you’ll lead a newly established Applications & Letting Team.
You’ll drive performance, improve how properties are allocated, reduce vacancy time, and ensure housing applications are processed efficiently, ultimately supporting better outcomes for clients across Sydney.
What you’ll do
In this role, you will lead and support a high-performing client service team within a fast-paced environment. You will provide clear direction, coaching, and ongoing development to build capability and drive strong performance outcomes.
You will be responsible for overseeing the efficient delivery of letting, housing applications, and advice services, ensuring work is prioritised effectively and completed within required timeframes. Monitoring team performance and service delivery will be a key focus, allowing you to identify opportunities for improvement and maintain high standards.
You will build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders to support coordinated service delivery and achieve positive outcomes for clients. You will also play a key role in implementing improvements and new ways of working, contributing to a more efficient and responsive service.
What we’re looking for
- Experience across lettings, housing applications (AHA), and change of circumstances (COC)
- Strong leadership skills in a high-volume service environment
- Ability to coach, motivate and drive performance
- Confident stakeholder engagement and decision-making skills
- Current NSW driver’s licence
