The Role:
As a Bookkeeper at Kelly Club, you’ll play a key role in supporting our growing business by ensuring accurate and efficient financial management across all Kelly Group entities. Your expertise in bookkeeping, organization, and communication will help streamline processes and drive operational efficiency. This role reports directly to the Administrative and Financial Manager, ensuring alignment with business goals.
Working hours:
Monday to Friday
9.00am to 5.00pm
(Potentially one day per week working from home to commence at manager's discretion)

Responsibilities:
- Responsible for managing bookkeeping for all Kelly Group entities, ensuring accurate, timely, and efficient transaction processing.
- Focus on streamlining processes to enhance operational efficiency.
- Maintain accurate financial records using accounting software
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions
- Assist with payroll processing
- Issuing invoices and statements
- Manual Journaling
- Preparing and lodging quarterly BAS
- Producing financial and management reports (Weekly, Monthly)
- Utilizing Xero for financial operations
- Conducting reconciliations
- Supporting management as required
- Proven 2 years' or more of experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role
- Solid understanding of basic accounting principles
- Proficiency with accounting software in Xero
- Understanding of Employment Hero - Payroll system
- Understanding of Dext (Receipting System)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong Communication
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to prioritize and multitask effectively
- Cert IV qualifications in business and/or finance
- Independence and adaptability are essential for managing the demands of a busy office environment.
- Ability to work autonomously while demonstrating excellent time management and accountability.
- Effective communication is key, requiring clear, regular, and consistent interaction with all stakeholders.
- Sensitivity in communication is crucial when engaging with employees and management.
- Strong organizational skills help maintain efficiency and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Reports directly to the Administrative and Financial Manager, ensuring alignment with business goals.
