Who you are

We are seeking a motivated and emerging researcher to contribute to a nationally significant, NHMRC-funded research project led by The University of Queensland. This is an exciting opportunity to build your academic profile while working collaboratively within a supportive and high-performing research environment.

What you'll do

You are an emerging researcher with a strong foundation in public health or a related discipline, looking to grow your academic career. In this role, you will actively contribute to high-quality research and scholarship, while developing your academic capability under the guidance of experienced researchers. Key responsibilities include:

• Contributing to impactful, discipline-level research aligned with project objectives

• Producing high-quality research outputs, guided by a mentor or supervisor and consistent with ethical research practices

• Participating in research activities including data collection, analysis, and dissemination

• Building collaborative relationships across disciplines and with external partners

• Supporting Higher Degree by Research (HDR) students, including co-supervision where appropriate

• Engaging in both face-to-face and online discussions to support project progress and decision-making

• Undertaking ongoing professional development to strengthen academic and leadership capability

Salary: Total remuneration range $59,994 to $80,485 pa (includes salary range of $50,596 to $67,877 pa, employer super contributions of 17% and annual leave loading)
