You're a critical thinker who thrives on exploring complex policy issues. Your expertise and advice could influence outcomes for the future of NSW.

In this role, you'll:
  • Contribute to a first-of-its-kind project which strengthens security and emergency preparedness at NSW’s busiest transport interchanges.
  • Undertake research, stakeholder engagement and policy-writing to produce operational plans that enable Transport to prepare for and respond to security incidents at high-profile, high-density locations.

About you

  • A policy professional with relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience.
  • Capable of supporting multiple project objectives in a context of tight deadlines and competing demands.
  • Demonstrated experience undertaking policy research, development, implementation, review or evaluation, with the ability to analyse complex issues and develop evidence-based solutions.
  • Proven ability to work with stakeholders to influence outcomes and navigate complex operating environments.
  • Adaptable, highly driven and willing to work outside regular hours and travel on occasion, knowing that your work will help to protect our passengers, frontline staff and critical infrastructure.
