Position Description
  • Casual roles and permanent part-time roster lines available
  • Conveniently located in South East Melbourne area (Caulfield, Malvern, Mentone and Elsternwick)

In this role, you’ll play a key part in day to day service delivery for clients accessing Short Term Respite (STR) and Supported Independent Living (SIL). You’ll support individuals with daily living, community participation, positive behaviour support, high intensity supports and decision-making - ensuring each person experiences meaningful engagement, independence and connection.

As a permanent staff member, you will receive secure ongoing hours, regular supervision, professional development, and the opportunity to build long-term relationships with participants.

You will be a great fit if you have:

  • Certificate IV in Disability and current Level 2 First Aid
  • Medication administration and assessment
  • Driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle
  • A strong understanding of person-centred active support and inclusion principles
  • Well-developed communication skills and ability to build supportive relationships with clients, families and colleagues
  • Experience in disability support, including daily living assistance, behaviour support strategies, high intensity supports and community participation
  • The ability to maintain accurate records, follow policies, uphold boundaries and contribute to a safe, empowering environment
  • Flexibility to work a mix of day, afternoon, weekend and sleepover shifts
