Job Description
We are a busy and well-established Japanese restaurant in Norwood seeking a motivated and customer-focused Service Staff member to join our front-of-house team.
This role is best suited to someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced dining environment and values consistency, teamwork, and service standards.
Evening and weekend availability is essential.

Key Duties

  • Deliver efficient and courteous service during busy dinner periods
  • Take customer orders and ensure accurate communication with the kitchen
  • Serve food and beverages promptly and safely
  • Monitor table flow and assist with clearing and resetting tables
  • Maintain cleanliness and presentation of the dining area
  • Support the team to ensure smooth overall service

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience in hospitality service (minimum 1 year preferred)
  • Confident communication skills and a positive attitude
  • Ability to stay organised under pressure
  • Strong sense of responsibility and reliability
  • Experience in Asian or Japanese restaurants is an advantage but not essential

  • Available for evening and weekend shifts
