Chef Responsibilities:

  • Plan and design creative, high-quality menus featuring Indian cuisine
  • Estimate food and labour costs and manage stock ordering
  • Ensure excellent food preparation and presentation
  • Collaborate with management and kitchen staff to maintain efficiency
  • Lead, train, and mentor kitchen team members
  • Maintain strict hygiene and food safety standards
  • Oversee food storage, preservation, and waste minimisation

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience: 1–2 years as a chef in a busy kitchen or similar environment
  • Qualification: Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery and Diploma of Hospitality Management or equivalent
  • Skills: Strong time management, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure
  • Leadership: Confidence in supervising and guiding a team
  • Passion: A genuine love for cooking and delivering outstanding food
