Who are we?

Moreton Hospitality's The Beach Hotel is located in Broadbeach. We are a precinct of multiple venues, a casual dining restaurant Cora, High Energy Sports Bar, VIP Luxury Gaming Lounge and an exclusive Private Function and Dining Room for up to 100 guests The Club House.

The position

This is a unique opportunity for a highly energetic and motivated Events & Floor Supervisor with a passion service.

We are seeking someone with previous event/banquets/floor supervisor experience, who is willing to invest time to learn about our brands. Our venues differ not only in looks but also personality, requiring a different creative approach to adequately reach our guests whilst remaining true to each individual venue.

In this Casual role, you will work directly with our experienced Events Co-ordinator and our Restaurant Management Team providing invaluable support, and taking care of clients needs and wants on events days, and creating an unforgettable experiences for our guests, you will lead and supervise our team and also work at times autonomously.

Your key responsibility will include:

• Responsible for set up on the day, ensuring the floorplan is being followed
• Meeting with Events Co-ordinator prior to the event to ensure smooth operation
• Responsible for the overall operation of the event
• Communicate with kitchen and other team members on key details such as dietaries and precise time frames
• Ensure the client’s needs are being met
• Upsell where possible
• Reset the room for the next event
• Ensure the function room is immaculately presented at all times
• Complete post event reports
• Floor supervisor shifts for additional hours

About You

Ideally, you will have:

• Proven experience in a similar role (1+ years)
• Previous supervisory or senior restaurant experience
• Ability to demonstrate experience in the key responsibilities outlined for this role
• Excellent accuracy and attention to detail
• A genuine focus and appreciation for creating and delivering quality service

Job Types: Part-time, Casual

Pay: $35.15 – $55.00 per hour
