The Human Resources Administrator provides efficient and responsive HR administration and support across Burger Urge's franchise network, corporate venues, and Support Office, ensuring people processes, systems, and documentation are accurate, compliant, and deliver a positive employee experience

Join Burger Urge

At Burger Urge, we're taking it back. To a time when burgers were made properly, hospitality meant something, and work was about creating great experiences for our people and guests.

We're looking for a Human Resources Administrator to join our growing Support Office team. This is a hands-on role for someone who loves organisation, enjoys solving problems, and wants to build a career in People & Culture.

About the Role

Reporting to the HR Manager, you'll be the go-to person for day-to-day HR administration across our corporate venues, franchise network, and Support Office.

No two days are the same. One day you'll be onboarding new team members and updating contracts in TANDA, the next you'll be supporting managers with HR enquiries, coordinating compliance activities, or assisting with people projects and initiatives.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Providing consistent, practical and compliant HR support across the franchise network and corporate venues
  • Supporting the administration and implementation of employment frameworks, legal agreements and workplace insurance requirements across the business
  • Coordinating employee lifecycle administration, engagement initiatives and People & Culture programs across Support Office
  • Coordinating the administration of the company's visa and employer sponsorship program
  • Preparing employment contracts, letters, and HR documentation
  • Managing employee records and maintaining HR systems and business tools, including TANDA, SharePoint and Microsoft Office
  • Coordinating onboarding and offboarding activities
  • Supporting recruitment administration and workforce planning activities
  • Assisting with WorkCover and return-to-work administration
  • Supporting policy updates, system improvements, and compliance initiatives

About You

You'll thrive in this role if you:

  • Have experience in an HR Administration, HR Coordinator, or similar role
  • Have excellent organisational skills and high attention to detail
  • Can juggle multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Possess strong communication skills and enjoy building relationships with people
  • Have experience with TANDA or similar workforce management systems (desirable)
  • Have an understanding of Australian employment legislation and Modern Awards (desirable)

Why Burger Urge?

  • Join a growing Australian hospitality brand
  • Work with a passionate, supportive, and collaborative team
  • Gain exposure across the full employee lifecycle
  • Opportunity to contribute to meaningful People & Culture projects
  • Plenty of scope to grow and develop your HR career
