About the Role

Burger Urge Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced and motivated Human Resources Manager to join our growing organisation in Brisbane, Queensland.

This is a full-time position responsible for overseeing the company's human resource operations, workforce planning, recruitment strategies, employee relations, compliance, performance management, and organisational development initiatives. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting business growth and maintaining a positive workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment and selection processes
  • Prepare job descriptions and employment contracts
  • Oversee employee onboarding and induction programs
  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures
  • Manage employee relations and workplace investigations
  • Coordinate performance management and appraisal programs
  • Advise management on employment legislation and HR best practices
  • Ensure compliance with Fair Work legislation and National Employment Standards
  • Coordinate training and professional development initiatives
  • Manage workforce planning and succession planning activities
  • Maintain HR records and reporting systems
  • Support employee engagement, retention and wellbeing initiatives

Skills and Experience

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher qualification in Human Resources, Business or a related discipline
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience as a Human Resources Manager or similar role
  • Strong knowledge of Australian employment legislation and Fair Work requirements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience managing employee relations matters
  • Strong organisational and leadership capabilities
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
