Cafe Manager

Employment Type: Full-time Permanent

Salary: $80,000 – $100,000 per annum

Location: Bunbury, Western Australia (Regional WA)

We are a busy and well-established franchised cafe (The Coffee Club) located in the heart of Eaton, Western Australia, and we are currently seeking an experienced, motivated, and reliable Cafe Manager to lead our front-of-house operations.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment and has a strong understanding of cafe management, customer service excellence, and team leadership.

Position Overview

The Cafe Manager will be responsible for overseeing the overall management and day-to-day operations of the restaurant, ensuring smooth service delivery, high customer satisfaction, and compliance with health and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the day-to-day operations of the restaurant to ensure smooth and efficient service

Lead, train, and supervise the front-of-house team to maintain a professional and productive work environment

Deliver outstanding customer service and address customer concerns in a professional manner

Manage opening and closing procedures, including cash handling and operational reporting

Prepare staff rosters and manage staffing levels to ensure adequate service coverage

Coordinate with kitchen and service staff to ensure efficient service flow

Control stock levels for beverages and front-of-house supplies and coordinate ordering with suppliers

Monitor sales performance and assist in implementing strategies to improve profitability and operational efficiency

Work closely with the General Manager to ensure service standards and operational objectives are achieved

Maintain compliance with workplace health and safety (WHS), licensing requirements, and company policies

Maintain operational records, reports, and documentation

Handle operational issues and resolve problems promptly during service

Qualifications and Experience

Certificate IV, Diploma, or higher qualification in Hospitality Management, Business, or a related field (preferred)

At least one or two years of relevant work experience in a restaurant management or supervisory role

Strong ability to lead and support a hospitality team

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Ability to remain calm and organised in a fast-paced environment
