Full job description

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Restaurant Manager lead our establishment to a new heights. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring customer service, managing staff and driving profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Management:

  • Oversee daily restaurant operations
  • Manage reservations and online bookings
  • Monitor and control stocktake, ordering and supplies

Staff Management:

  • Recruit, hire, train and supervise staff
  • Rostering staff shifts, ensuring adequate staffing level
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide constructive feedback

Customer Service:

  • Ensure high level of customer satisfaction by addressing complaints and resolving issues

Financial Management:

  • Monitor financial performance, including Sales, cost and profitability
  • Implement cost-control measures to maximise profitability

Health and Safety:

  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation.

Marketing and Promotions:

  • Develop and execute marketing strategies to attract and retain customers
  • Coordinate with marketing team to promote current offers and specials

Administrative Duties:

  • Maintain accurate records, including sales, expenses and staff information
  • Prepare reports and present them to upper management
  • handle administrative task such payroll and rostering

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or in similar role
  • Strong understanding of restaurant management including front and back of the house operations
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and can handle pressure
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and public holidays as needed

Working Conditions:

  • Busy restaurant environment
  • Long hours shifts including nights, weekends and public holiday
  • Physically demanding, require standing & walking for extended periods

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 – $75,000.00 per year
