About the Role

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Area Manager to oversee four of our Zambrero restaurants located across the Sunshine Coast QLD and Mid North Coast NSW regions (Mooloolaba, Maroochydore, Port Macquarie, and Lake Innes).

In this full-time role, you will be responsible for driving financial profitability, operational excellence, and fostering a high-performing workplace culture across all locations. Candidates can be based anywhere within the regions or surrounds, provided they are willing to travel regularly between sites.

Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Oversight: Interpret profit and loss statements, and drive forecasting while executing strict cost controls for COGS and labour.
  • Operational Excellence: Supervise multi-site inventory systems, supplier ordering, and ensure strict compliance with company operational policies and procedures.
  • Leadership & Personnel: Direct recruitment, conduct performance reviews, and manage rostering to balance business goals with an exceptional customer experience.
  • Strategic Coordination: Execute local marketing promotions and ensure full adherence to regulatory requirements across all restaurant locations.
  • Safety & Compliance: Enforce security, banking, and cash-handling procedures while driving mandatory WHS and food safety training modules.

Requirements

  • Experience: Restaurant, food service, or retail management experience is preferred but not required.
  • Financial Acumen: Knowledge in budget management, P&L analysis, payroll processes, and financial administration are preferred but not required.
  • Leadership Skills: Demonstrated success in managing, training, and mentoring diverse teams, experience in leading Restaurant Managers and supervisors is a plus.
  • Attributes: Exceptional communication skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while always fostering a postive customer experience.
