About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Restaurant Manager to lead our daily operations. You will oversee restaurant service, develop and support our team, manage operating costs and ensure every guest enjoys an excellent dining experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, organise and oversee daily restaurant operations.
• Recruit, train, roster and supervise staff.
• Lead the team to deliver efficient service and maintain high customer service standards.
• Manage reservations, dining arrangements, functions and customer enquiries.
• Handle customer feedback and resolve complaints professionally.
• Monitor sales, budgets, labour costs and operating expenses.
• Manage inventory, purchasing and supplier relationships.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team on menu planning, food quality and service coordination.
• Maintain food safety, hygiene, workplace safety and responsible service standards.
• Oversee cash handling, daily reconciliation and operational records.
• Support promotional activities and identify opportunities to improve restaurant performance.

Skills and Qualifications

• More than three years of relevant experience in restaurant, cafe or hospitality management.
• A relevant qualification in hospitality management, business management or a related field.
• Strong leadership, communication and customer service skills.
• Experience in staff rostering, stock control, budgeting and cost management.
• Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to lead a team and maintain service standards in a busy restaurant.
• Knowledge of food safety, workplace safety and responsible service requirements.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends and public holidays.
