Full job description

Restaurant Manager — Tony's Woodfire | Beecroft, NSW

About Us Tony's Woodfire is one of Beecroft's most loved local dining experiences — a woodfire pizzeria built on great food, warm hospitality, and a genuine connection with our community. We're a small, close-knit team who take real pride in everything we do, from the food on the plate to the way we make every guest feel at home.

The Opportunity We're looking for an experienced Restaurant Manager to become the daily heartbeat of our front of house. This is a hands-on floor leadership role — you'll be the senior presence in the dining room every shift, leading the team, owning the guest experience, and keeping service running seamlessly from the moment doors open to the last guest leaving.

Reporting directly to the owner, you'll have real responsibility and real autonomy. This is the kind of role where you set the tone, build the culture, and make Tony's Woodfire the best it can be — every single night.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Running the floor as the senior FOH leader across every shift
  • Supervising and supporting the front-of-house team through service
  • Managing table flow, pacing, and the overall guest experience
  • Handling guest enquiries, special requests, and any issues with warmth and professionalism
  • Managing reservations and coordinating bookings during service
  • Opening and closing the venue and holding full shift responsibility
  • Assisting with staff rostering and day-to-day team management
  • Onboarding and training new front-of-house team members
  • Liaising with the kitchen to ensure smooth, consistent service
  • Acting as the owner's right hand when they are not on site

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience in a Restaurant Manager, Floor Manager, or senior FOH supervisory role
  • A confident, calm leader who thrives in a busy service environment
  • Genuine passion for guest experience and creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to lead a team by example
  • Experience with rostering, staff supervision, and basic team management
  • Ability to handle bookings, function enquiries, and guest relations professionally
  • Current RSA certificate (required)
  • Someone who takes ownership, shows initiative, and wants to grow with the business

The Details

  • Full-time position
  • Mixed days and evenings across the week
  • Based in Beecroft, NSW

Pay: $55,000.00 – $65,000.00 per year

Benefits:

  • Employee discount
  • Free drinks
  • Free food

Work Location: In person
