It's a higher offering, more considered than your average pub, but still built to be the local that people rely on, not a place that intimidates them. We're looking for a Venue Manager to come in before doors open and help build that vision from the ground up.

This is a full time leadership role.

What we're after

A genuine passion for hospitality and real experience running a venue floor, rosters and standards day to day. Someone who can start with a blank page and build the culture, processes and team that will define this venue for years to come. Strong communication, a level head under pressure, and the ability to hold both guests and staff to a standard that reflects what The Eastern is about.

What you'll be doing

Building front of house operations from scratch, from systems and standards through to hiring and developing the floor and bar team. Working closely with ownership and the kitchen in the lead up to opening, then running it day to day once doors are open. You'll have real ownership over how this place comes together, not a job description to follow.
