Area Manager - Multi-Site Hospitality Operations

Proven multi-site management experience is essential. We're looking for an experienced Area Manager who has successfully led multiple hospitality venues and knows how to drive performance across a group of locations.

Andonis is a growing, owner-operated café group with 14 locations across South East Queensland. We're looking for someone who can take ownership of a patch of stores, lead Store Managers, improve commercial results and make sure high standards are delivered consistently across every location.

You'll be responsible for the performance of multiple cafés, working through your leaders to identify gaps, improve results and make sure actions are followed through.

What you'll be responsible for

• Multi-site performance: Oversee a group of cafés, taking ownership of operational performance, results and standards across your patch.
• Lead Store Managers: Coach, develop and performance-manage managers, building capable leaders who take ownership of their own stores.
• Drive commercial results: Review sales, labour costs, wages, productivity and other key performance indicators to identify opportunities and improve profitability.
• Hold leaders accountable: Set clear expectations, follow up on performance gaps and ensure agreed actions are completed.
• Maintain operational standards: Keep customer experience, food quality, cleanliness, presentation and compliance consistent across all locations.
• Get on the ground: Visit stores regularly, work alongside leaders, identify issues and make sure improvements are happening in practice.
• Improve how we operate: Implement operational initiatives, solve recurring problems and work closely with the Operations Manager to improve results across the business.

What we're looking for

Essential experience:

• Proven experience as an Area Manager, Multi-Site Manager, Regional Manager or equivalent, with direct responsibility for multiple locations at the same time.
• Experience leading and holding multiple Store Managers, Venue Managers or Restaurant Managers accountable for their individual store results.
• A track record of improving performance across multiple sites.
• Strong commercial understanding, including labour costs, rostering, productivity, sales performance and profitability.
• Experience using KPIs and operational reporting to identify problems, set priorities and deliver measurable improvements.
• Confidence managing underperformance, having direct conversations and following through on expectations.
• Experience in hospitality, cafés, restaurants, quick-service restaurants (QSR), food service or a similarly fast-paced multi-site business.

• A hands-on leadership style and the ability to build trust while maintaining high expectations.
• Strong organisation and the ability to manage competing priorities across several locations.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving, with a focus on solutions and results.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with different leaders across your area.
• Coffee and barista knowledge (preferred).
