Chef Manager - Full-Time

$92,000 Base Annually + 12% Superannuation

THE POSITION:

  • Hands on planning, supervising, and managing the food production and menu based catering onsite
  • Bring passion, creativity and innovation to seasonal menu development and costing
  • Responsible for stock control, budgets, weekly & monthly financial reporting, staff mentoring and training
  • Building and leveraging positive customer and client relationships to achieve our partnership objectives
  • Manage finances within a budget & maintain efficient operations across multi services
  • Ensure contract compliance is met and understanding of the scope of work required (including all OH&S compliance)

THE PERSON:

  • Minimum Cert 4 Commercial Cookery qualification
  • Thorough understanding of allergens and Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (mandatory)
  • Commitment to safety, compliance and high standards
  • Good understanding of the NSW healthy eating framework
  • Strong people management & Leadership skills & the ability to deliver a high standard of customer focused service - this is also a client facing role
  • Contract management experience highly regarded
  • Solid financial understanding and reporting capability
  • Intermediate computer/Microsoft office skills
  • The successful applicant will be required to hold or obtain a Working with Children Check
