About Us

Peter Eva is an expanding culinary business based in Huskisson (Jervis Bay area). Known for our high-quality artisanal products, we are growing our operations with a new location in the industrial area to serve premium breakfast options to local workers, alongside our retail and wholesale production.

We are looking for a skilled, passionate Pastry Chef / Baker to join our team and run our baking department, bringing precision, creativity, and high standards to our morning routine.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Artisanal Production: Prepare, bake, and finish high-quality breakfast pastries (croissants, brioches, cakes, tarts) and fresh daily bread.
  • Dough & Fermentation Management: Manage dough preparation, proofing, and baking schedules, ensuring consistency in texture and flavour.
  • Quality Control: Maintain high standards of product presentation, taste, and freshness.
  • Kitchen & Stock Management: Monitor inventory, order ingredients for your section, and maintain strict food safety standards.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Pastry Chef, Baker, or Pastry Cook.
  • Strong knowledge of dough techniques, fermentation, and commercial baking equipment.
  • Early Morning Availability: Ability to work early shifts to ensure fresh products are ready for opening.
  • Reliable, highly organised, and capable of managing production independently.
  • Valid Australian working rights.
