Restaurant Supervisor – Hurricane’s Grill (Brighton Le Sands)

Hurricane’s Grill Restaurants deliver a premium dining experience, renowned for our world-famous ribs, premium steaks, and outstanding customer service. With iconic locations across Sydney including Circular Quay, Castle Hill, Pyrmont, Bankstown, and Botany Bay, we are committed to creating a vibrant, energetic atmosphere where exceptional food meets exceptional hospitality.

We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Restaurant Supervisor to join our team at Hurricane’s Grill, Brighton Le Sands. This is an exciting opportunity for a hospitality professional with a positive “can-do” attitude, strong leadership capability, and a genuine passion for delivering memorable guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities

As Restaurant Supervisor, you will play a key role in leading daily operations and supporting the team to deliver high service standards. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading, mentoring, and developing a team of 15–40 staff members
  • Ensuring consistently high levels of customer service and guest satisfaction
  • Supporting training and onboarding of new team members
  • Demonstrating strong food and beverage knowledge to enhance guest experience
  • Maintaining smooth operations in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
  • Ensuring compliance with workplace health and safety standards
  • Handling basic administrative and communication tasks effectively
  • Contributing to a positive, team-focused workplace culture

About You

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a restaurant leadership or supervisory role
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and support teams
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Good knowledge of food and wine
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to perform well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • A genuine passion for hospitality
  • Valid RSA certification

Requirements

  • Full-time position
  • Availability to work a rotating 7-day roster, including evenings and weekends
  • Must be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or hold a valid visa permitting full-time work
