Full job description

Early Bird Cafe, a restaurant located on Magnetic

Island, is looking to immediately fill a permanent full-time position of waitress.

The duties you will be expected to complete in this position include but are not limited to:

  • welcoming guests and providing menus and beverage options
  • preparing, setting and arranging tables before service
  • taking customer food and drink orders and communicating them to kitchen and bar staff
  • serving meals, beverages and other requested items to customers (including opening bottles and pouring drinks as required)
  • clearing used plates, cutlery and other tableware and returning them to the kitchen
  • removing empty bottles and used glassware, and replacing or refilling glasses as needed
  • processing customer payments using POS systems and cash registers

We would like you to possess the following:

  • At least 1 year of work experience in a waiter role
  • Be consistent and able to work well in a team
  • Be able to perform well under pressure

Salary: between $71,500 and $81,500+ superannuation (based on experience).

Pay: $71,500.00 – $81,500.00 per year

Work Location: In person
