Casual Section Waiter - McKinnon Hotel

The McKinnon Hotel is a well-established local favourite, delivering classic pub meals and a welcoming atmosphere to the Southeast community. With a busy front bar, bistro, and year-round functions, we’re looking for a reliable and motivated Section Waiter to join the team.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering solid, consistent service. You’ll be working across the bistro floor and supporting bar operations when required.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Running a section in the bistro with efficient and attentive service
  • Taking food and beverage orders accurately
  • Supporting the bar team during peak periods
  • Assisting with functions and general venue operations
  • Maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness

What we’re looking for:

  • Previous hospitality experience preferred (minimum 1 year ideal)
  • Strong work ethic and a positive, team-first attitude
  • Ability to handle busy service periods without dropping standards
  • Flexibility to work across both floor and bar

Availability requirements:

  • Must be available weekends, and Thursdays (essential)

Additional requirements:

  • Valid working rights in Australia
