Blaq Restaurant is a vibrant, award-winning venue located in the heart of the stunning Blue Mountains.

We are looking for 2-3 section waiters that can work Friday and Saturday shifts.

We are looking for people who are confident, service-driven, and genuinely passionate about hospitality. These casual roles are integral to delivering a seamless and memorable guest experience.

To be successful in this role, you’ll need to be available to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Deliver warm, professional, and attentive service to all guests
  • Take full ownership of a restaurant section, ensuring smooth and efficient service
  • Confidently take food and beverage orders, with clear communication to the kitchen and bar
  • Set, clear, and maintain tables to ensure a clean and service-ready environment
  • Maintain strong knowledge of menu items, specials, and beverage offerings to guide guest recommendations
  • Work collaboratively with the team to ensure efficient service flow

What we’re looking for

  • Minimum 1 year experience as a section waiter in a fast-paced venue
  • Current RSA (or willingness to obtain)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage a section efficiently under pressure
  • High attention to detail and a proactive approach to service
  • A friendly, professional, and motivated attitude
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays
