For over 35 years, Tuga Pastries has been baking joy into every bite. As a second-generation family bakery, we’re famous for our flaky pastries, artisan breads, and - of course - our iconic Portuguese Tarts loved across Sydney.

We are seeking Front of House Staff, who will be responsible for crafting delicious coffee creations, providing exceptional customer service, and assisting with daily cafe operations. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about coffee, loves interacting with customers, and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.

Our cafes are located in Clovelly on Clovelly Rd, just a stone's throw away from the beach, and in Alexandria, just a short walk from Green Square train station.

With our prime locations and loyal customer base, you'll have the opportunity to showcase your barista skills and build lasting relationships with our wonderful guests.

Responsibilities:

· Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages with precision and care

· Provide friendly and efficient customer service, making each customer feel welcome and valued

· Assist with food preparation, serving, and maintaining cleanliness in the cafe

· Handle cash transactions and maintain a clean and organized workspace

· Contribute to a positive work environment by working collaboratively with team members

Requirements:

· Previous experience as a barista or in a similar customer service role

· Strong knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and espresso equipment

· Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team

· A positive attitude and a passion for delivering exceptional service

· Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends

Pay: $31.19 – $38.78 per hour
