Front of House Staff – Japanese Restaurant (Norwood)

We are seeking a reliable and professional Front of House team member to join our well-established Japanese restaurant located in Norwood.

This position is ideal for someone looking for a stable, long-term role in hospitality and who takes pride in delivering high-quality customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing attentive and friendly table service
  • Managing a section of up to 8 tables efficiently
  • Carrying and serving multiple plates safely
  • Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the dining area
  • Working closely with kitchen and floor staff to ensure smooth service

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year experience in a front-of-house hospitality role
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work calmly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • High attention to detail and strong work ethic
  • Previous experience in a Japanese restaurant is highly regarded
  • Reliable, punctual, and well-presented
  • Available to work evenings and weekends

Hours & Employment:

  • Approximately 10–15 hours per week initially
