Front of House Customer Service Assistant

Northern Rivers Seafood – Ballina, NSW

Casual | Weekend Work | Immediate Start

$33–$46 per hour (depending on experience, plus applicable weekend penalty rates)

Do you enjoy talking with people and thrive in a fast-paced environment?

Northern Rivers Seafood is looking for a friendly, reliable and enthusiastic person to join our Front of House team.

As the Northern Rivers' largest supplier of fresh and local seafood, we've proudly served our community since 1983. We're a family-owned business with a fantastic reputation, and we're looking for someone who enjoys providing exceptional customer service and wants to become part of our team.

What you'll be doing

  • Greeting and assisting customers
  • Serving fresh seafood with a smile
  • Processing sales through the register
  • Preparing customer orders
  • Maintaining a clean and organised shop
  • Working as part of a supportive and energetic team

About You

We're looking for someone who:

  • Has a positive and friendly attitude
  • Enjoys working with people
  • Is reliable, punctual and hardworking
  • Can remain calm in a busy environment
  • Is available to work weekends (essential)
  • Has customer service or retail experience (preferred but not essential)
