Part-Time Kitchen Hand

Eating House Rowville is looking for a reliable and hard-working kitchen hand to join our busy kitchen team.

Operating since 2004, Eating House is an established premium-casual restaurant serving breakfast, lunch and dinner seven days a week.

About the role

This is a hands-on position suited to someone who works quickly, takes pride in cleanliness and can remain organised during busy services.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Operating the commercial dishwasher
• Washing dishes, pots, pans and kitchen equipment
• Keeping the dishwashing and kitchen areas clean and organised
• Completing scheduled cleaning duties
• Emptying bins and managing waste correctly
• Assisting chefs with basic food preparation when required
• Receiving and storing deliveries
• Following food-safety, hygiene and workplace-safety procedures
• Supporting the kitchen team during busy services

About you

We are looking for someone who:

• Is reliable, punctual and hard-working
• Can work quickly and calmly under pressure
• Maintains high cleaning and hygiene standards
• Can safely perform the physical requirements of the role
• Communicates well and works as part of a team
• Is available for evening and weekend shifts
• Has reliable transport to Rowville
• Holds valid Australian working rights

Previous kitchen-hand or hospitality experience is preferred, but training can be provided to the right applicant.
