Casa Nova Italian is looking for a friendly, reliable, and professional casual server to join our team.

Casa Nova Italian is a warm, growth-focused Italian restaurant group where you can create, belong and become as you develop your career across multiple NSW venues.

About the role

We are looking for experienced servers to join our front-of-house team at Casa Nova Circular quay. You will look after your own section, deliver professional table service and help create a relaxed, welcoming dining experience for our guests.

Key responsibilities:

  • Greeting and seating guests with a friendly, professional attitude
  • Taking food and beverage orders and entering them accurately into our POS
  • Running food and drinks, checking back on tables and managing your section
  • Handling payments and closing checks accurately
  • Maintaining a clean and organised floor, including reset of tables between services
  • Working closely with the bar and kitchen to ensure smooth service

What we’re looking for

  • Previous experience as a server / section waiter in a busy, full‑service restaurant
  • Confident carrying plates and trays, and managing multiple tables at once
  • Strong communication skills and a genuine passion for hospitality
  • Reliable, punctual and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Availability across nights and weekends (including some public holidays)
  • Valid NSW RSA (or willingness to obtain before starting, if required by roster)

Hours and pay

  • Casual shifts with consistent hours available for the right people
  • Mix of lunch and dinner shifts, including weekends, based on roster
  • Pay in line with the Restaurant Industry Award, with higher rates on evenings, weekends and public holidays
  • Staff meals/discounts and opportunities to grow within the Casa Nova group
