Are you passionate about hospitality and looking to work in a vibrant and friendly environment? La Cucina + Bar in Port Douglas is seeking a skilled waiter/waitress to join our team!

About Us:

La Cucina + Bar is a beloved local spot in Port Douglas, known for our relaxed atmosphere, exceptional service, and delicious cuisine. We pride ourselves on delivering a memorable dining experience to all our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare and set tables to ensure a welcoming and organised dining environment.
- Greet guests, present menus and beverage lists, and provide recommendations as required.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and communicate them to kitchen and bar staff.
- Respond to customer enquiries and assist with dietary requirements.
- Serve food and beverages promptly and professionally.
- Clear tables, return dishes and cutlery to the kitchen, and maintain the cleanliness of the dining area.
- Remove empty bottles and used glassware from tables and refill or replace items as required.
- Process customer payments using POS systems and handle cash transactions accurately.

Requirements:

- At least 1 year of experience in similar roles is required
- Knowledge of food and beverage service standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
- A positive attitude and team-oriented mindset.

This is a Full Time role.
Salary: $68,000–$73,000 plus superannuation, depending on experience.
Australian citizens and permanent residents will have priority. In your cover letter specify your citizenship/visa status.

Pay: $68,000.00 – $73,000.00 per year
