About the Role
We are looking for a reliable, hardworking and customer-focused Retail Assistant to join our team at IGA Officer. In this role, you will help with day-to-day store operations and provide friendly service to our customers.

This position is suitable for someone who is proactive, honest, able to work in a fast-paced environment, and willing to learn different areas of the store.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Operate the cash register and handle transactions accurately
• Refill shelves and ensure stock is well presented
• Check product quality, dates and freshness
• Assist with cleaning and maintaining store presentation
• Help with receiving stock and unpacking deliveries
• Follow store procedures, food safety and hygiene standards
• Support the team with general store duties as required

• Ability to work in a busy retail environment
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Flexible availability, including weekends and evening shifts
• Previous retail or supermarket experience is preferred but not essential
