Your Opportunity
Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of exciting projects, our Buildings Structures team in Brisbane is looking for a Structural Engineer and Technical Director to join our multidisciplinary team of passionate professionals.
In this role, you’ll:
- Assisting with scoping, estimating, pricing and managing projects
- Support on building projects across sectors including arts & culture, aviation, defence, transport, civic, and life sciences.
- Collaborate with a diverse team of engineers, architects, and consultants to drive innovative, sustainable design solutions.
- Strive for technical excellence from yourself and the staff you work with in an open and inclusive manner
- Actively participate in client and group meetings, shaping project strategies and building long-term partnerships.
- Contribute to a workplace culture that values collaboration, creativity, and purpose-driven work.
About you
- A degree in civil/structural engineering or a related field.
- At least 1 year of relevant work experience in Structural Engineering
- Working knowledge of structural analysis software (ETABs, Strand 7 etc).
- Possess a high level of design creativity with the ability to develop technically robust structural concepts whilst maintaining a strong focus on the design intent.
- Commercially aware with the ability to successfully lead structural and multidisciplinary projects through all phases whilst managing and developing strong client relationships.
- Desire to work within a multidisciplinary team, driving innovation and excellence, contributing to work place culture.
- Salary range for this position is AUD $79,000 to AUD $81,000
