Full job description

Quality Hotel Robertson Gardens is currently seeking a highly motivated experienced individual with exceptional food and beverage experience to join our team. Situated on Brisbane's Southside, the Hotel is set out across 10 acres with 138 accommodation rooms, conferencing facilities & a well-appointed restaurant and function spaces which are open 7 days a week.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with restaurant service and functions & events, tending to guests and exceeding their expectations.
  • Greeting and escorting customers to their tables
  • Arranging table settings and maintaining a tidy dining area
  • Providing detailed information on menus and make recommendations.
  • Taking customer orders and inputting into our POS systems
  • Delivering food and beverages to our guests
  • Delivering checks and closing out bill payments
  • Maintain outlet cleanliness and ensure all checklists are completed daily.
  • Understand guest needs and provide exceptional service in every interaction.
  • Gain exposure in all aspects of Food & Beverage, including Restaurant, Weddings, and Events.

You will possess:

  • An outgoing personality
  • Have a neat and professional appearance and a positive attitude
  • Current Queensland RSA
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Show initiative and ability to work well with others.
  • Willingness to learn and improve.
  • Demonstrate passion the hospitality industry.
  • Provide our guests with an exceptional experience.
  • Flexibility to work nights, weekends and a variety of shifts including breakfast over a 7-day roster.

Pay: $25.00 – $40.00 per hour
