Reporting to the Coordinator, Admissions, the Admissions Officer plays a key role in supporting Bond University’s strategic growth and student recruitment objectives through the accurate, timely, and compliant assessment and processing of admission applications for Bond University and Bond University College.


This includes applications from domestic and international students for both coursework and Higher Degree Research programs, scholarships, Study Abroad, and Incoming Exchange pathways. The role is responsible for evaluating academic qualifications from a range of global education systems, verifying supporting documentation, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring all admissions decisions align with university policies, procedures, and legislative requirements.


About the person

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

  • Relevant qualifications and/or experience in a university, admissions, administration, or other policy-driven environment.
  • A strong commitment to customer service, with the ability to build effective relationships and provide accurate, professional advice to a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and apply policies, procedures, and legislation while managing competing priorities.
  • High attention to detail and strong organisational skills, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Proficiency in using student administration, admissions, or other large-scale database systems, with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies.
  • Cultural awareness and an inclusive approach to working with people from diverse backgrounds; experience in university admissions, compliance requirements, Study Abroad and Exchange programs, and systems such as Study Link, Student One, and Microsoft Dynamics 365 will be highly regarded.


Salary details

The salary for the position commences at $85,707.07 per annum, plus 12% superannuation.
