Alwyndor’s welcoming, high-quality facilities include 144 residential, dementia, respite care beds, transitional and care awaiting placement beds, together with allied health, therapy and wellness programs, and home support packages that support people in Adelaide’s southern metro communities.


About the Opportunity

Alwyndor are looking for an efficient, service focused, and resilient casual Rostering Officer to provide rostering services to both our Residential and Support at Home Services. This role sits within the People and Culture team. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Maintenance of rostering requirements. Including but not limited to:
  • Master roster maintenance
  • Backfilling vacant shifts, planned and unplanned leave
  • Fortnightly roster creation, maintenance and publishing
  • Leave management
  • Agency bookings
  • Partnering with managers and employees to meet business needs
  • Preparing reports as required
  • Preparing internal communications


Required Skill and Attributes:

  • Previous rostering experience (desirable)
  • Knowledge of rostering practices and principles (desirable)
  • Attention to detail and diligence
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Sound PC skills and an ability to learn new systems quickly
  • Highly self-motivated and resilient
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent time management and organisation

The successful person must be willing to work between the hours of 6am and 6pm, Monday to Friday plus weekends to work as part of our 7 day rotating roster.


You must be willing to obtain a National Police Certificate before commencing employment as well as a functional assessment.
