About the Role
Join our Colorectal Unit and play a key role in delivering outstanding colorectal surgical care. You’ll manage complex patient care, support and mentor junior doctors, build strong clinical partnerships, and help shape research, audit and service improvement to achieve the best outcomes for our community.
You are an experienced Colorectal Consultant who combines clinical excellence with strong leadership, a passion for teaching and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.

About the Role

- Deliver expert consultative, operative and procedural colorectal care
- Lead and support trainee medical officers through supervision and teaching
- Drive clinical audit, research and continuous improvement
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and referring services across CALHN
- Provide compassionate, patient centred care for patients and their families
You are an experienced Colorectal Consultant who combines clinical excellence with strong leadership, a passion for teaching and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.
- MBBS or equivalent with specialist registration
- FRACS or equivalent in Colorectal Surgery
- Expertise in advanced colorectal and endoscopic surgery
- Strong research, teaching and quality improvement skills
- Collaborative leader with excellent communication skills
