About the Role

We are seeking a Maintenance Assistant to help maintain the venues and sites of the Ingleburn RSL Group. You will work in a dynamic environment where no two days are the same, carrying out internal and external maintenance tasks while upholding the highest standards of safety, efficiency, and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities (not limited to)

• Perform proactive maintenance on all Club venues and sites, including car parks, gardens, and play equipment.
• General handyman tasks, including painting, plumbing (within skill level), and working at heights.
• Maintain Club plant and vehicles, including electric buggies.
• Pest control and general upkeep of workshop and storage facilities.
• Assist in coordinating and overseeing external contractor work.
• Ad-hoc furniture and equipment moving.
• Contribute to workplace safety and represent the WHS committee as needed.

What we're Looking For

Essential Qualifications & Licences:

• Current Driver’s License (ability to drive a manual gearbox).
• Working with Children Check.
• Senior First Aid Certificate (including CPR and AED operation).

Skills & Experience:

• Prior experience in maintenance, facilities, or handyperson roles.
• Ability to operate power tools and plant equipment.
• Basic computer skills (MS Office Suite).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Above-average physical fitness.
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach.
