About NSW Health Pathology
Your expertise matters. As Australia’s largest public pathology and forensic service, we deliver over 100,000 clinical and scientific investigations every day, underpinning 70% of clinical decisions – from cancer care to critical emergency responses.
Our labs and collection centres are located across a state four times the size of the UK, offering more access to diverse roles, opportunities and world-class expertise.
This statewide footprint creates the rare opportunity to work at the grassroots of the local community you live in while being a part of a statewide team. You can live and work in the city or the country, the beach or the bush.
We’re also a proud diverse and inclusive employer of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander and LGBTQIA+ people.

- Clinical impact at scale: Influence patient care across hospitals, communities, and statewide health systems.
- Leadership & research opportunities: Contribute to service development, mentor future specialists, and engage in translational research and innovation.
