SAP GRC and SAP IDM Consultant Job Description

Summary

We're looking for a skilled SAP GRC and SAP IDM Consultant with deep expertise in managing and securing enterprise systems. The ideal candidate will be proficient in both SAP GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance) and SAP IDM (Identity Management). This role is crucial for maintaining the integrity, security, and compliance of our SAP landscape, focusing on identity and access management solutions, and ensuring our systems align with global security policies and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• SAP GRC Access Control & Process Control: Manage and configure SAP GRC modules to ensure effective access risk analysis, segregation of duties (SoD) enforcement, and business process compliance. This includes user provisioning, role management, and emergency access management.

• SAP IDM: Design, implement, and support SAP IDM solutions for user lifecycle management, including automated provisioning, de-provisioning, and password management across various SAP and non-SAP systems.

• SAP Cloud Identity and Access Management: Utilize your knowledge of SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform) and its identity services, including:

• SAP Identity Access Governance (IAG): Administer IAG for managing cloud-based access risks and SoD conflicts.

• SAP Identity Authentication Service (IAS): Configure and manage IAS for single sign-on (SSO) and secure user authentication.

* **SAP Identity Provisioning Service (IPS)**: Use IPS to provision and synchronize user identities between cloud and on-premise systems.

• Technical Support: Provide expert-level support for all SAP GRC and SAP IDM-related issues, including troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and resolution.

• Project Management: Participate in and lead projects related to SAP security enhancements, system upgrades, and new solution implementations. This involves gathering business requirements, designing solutions, and creating technical documentation.

• Collaboration: Work closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, and auditors to define security policies and ensure compliance.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• ; Technical Proficiency:

• Strong knowledge of SAP GRC Access Control (10.1 or 12.0) and Process Control.

• Expertise in SAP IDM (8.0), including its architecture, design, and implementation.

• Hands-on experience with SAP BTP Identity and Access Management components: IAG, IAS, and IPS.

• Functional Knowledge:

• In-depth understanding of SoD (Segregation of Duties) concepts and best practices.

• Familiarity with various SAP modules (e.g., ECC, S/4HANA, BW, SuccessFactors) and their security models.

• Soft Skills:

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications

• SAP certification in GRC or IDM.

• Experience with other security-related tools like SAP Audit Management or third-party security solutions.

• Familiarity with compliance standards like SOX and GDPR.

• Experience with SAP HANA security concepts.
