The Opportunity

We have a rare opportunity presented itself as we search for an SAP Security Consultant to join our team based in Macquarie Park, Sydney.

The Purpose of this role:

• Provide SAP security support for Goodman Fielder and Wilmar Sugar business units that will enable smooth running of day-to-day business applications
• Maintain relationships with internal parties to deliver the optimal outcomes in a timely and efficient manner
• Manage the full life cycle of security change including requirements gathering, developing roles, liaising with off-shore SAP Basis team to execute changes, system integration testing (SIT), supporting user acceptance testing (UAT)
• Lead projects within the SAP securities space for both the Goodman Fielder and Wilmar Sugar business units

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide BAU SAP security support to the business to resolve urgent and non-urgent tickets with the assistance of an off-shore basis team to execute changes
• Act as risk officer to ensure compliance with user access controls and segregation of duties
• Identify improvements in SAP security to streamline role assignment
• Perform annual audit of SAP security to ensure Goodman Fielder and Wilmar Sugar compliance with external consultant security review
• Maintain knowledge base - SAP Security documentation
• Develop and maintain effective and collaborative relationships with business user

What you will do:

• Work with the business to develop small-scale business process improvement and IT solutions that assist the business to be more productive and effective. This also entails supporting any changes or new requirements from the business.
• Create/change security requirements for SAP projects according to best practice.
• Provide BAU support to the business
• Develop and maintain effective and collaborative relationships with people within the business

What you need:

• Proven experience in SAP with experience in S/4 HANA, ECC, BW, BPC, Business Object, BTP, IBP, Cloud Identity Services
• Experience working in both Support and Project Team environments
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships with key stakeholders
• Excellent hands-on configuration experience - in-depth technical skills
• A passion for problem-solving with strong attention to detail and a solutions-focused mindset
• Professional certifications a plus but not necessary
• Legal working rights within Australia
