Front of House Section Waiter / Bartender – Multiple Locations

MKR Groups operates established Japanese dining venues across Sydney.

We are currently hiring Section Waiters and Bartenders for our venues in Potts Point, Manly, and Balgowlah.

Experience is preferred but not essential. We welcome applicants with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.

  • Candidates will be considered for their preferred location, subject to availability.

Hourly Rates

  • Weekdays: $26.44 – $29.45
  • Saturday: $33.05 – $36.81
  • Sunday: $39.65+
  • Rates are aligned with the Restaurant Industry Award (Level 1–4) and vary depending on experience and classification. Weekend and public holiday penalty rates apply.

What You’ll Do

  • Manage a section and provide friendly, attentive service
  • Take food and drink orders, including sake and cocktails
  • Communicate with kitchen and bar for smooth service
  • Handle payments, POS, and guest requests
  • Maintain clean tables and assist with opening/closing

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous waiter or bartender experience (Japanese dining a plus)
  • Professional, reliable, and guest-focused attitude
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • RSA (NSW) required or willing to obtain
  • Available 4–8 shifts per week (evenings/weekends included)
