NOW HIRING – FRONT OF HOUSE & BARTENDER (ALL-ROUNDER)

Do you have a passion for great food, bold drinks, and warm hospitality?
Join us at Bawara Bawarchi, a vibrant new Indian restaurant in Sandy Bay, as a Front of House & Bartender All-Rounder! We're seeking someone with 1-2 years of proven experience both on the floor and behind the bar, who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

Competitive pay starting at the minimum award rate under the Hospitality Award, with penalty rates for weekends and public holidays.

Your Role Will Include:

  • Greeting and serving guests with professionalism and enthusiasm
  • Managing food and beverage orders using POS systems
  • Preparing and serving cocktails, mocktails, and a variety of drinks
  • Creating a welcoming and smooth-flowing dining and bar experience
  • Maintaining cleanliness and compliance across both bar and dining areas
  • Sharing menu knowledge and making recommendations
  • Working as part of a close-knit, passionate team

What We’re Looking For:

  • 1–2 years experience in both bar and floor service is essential
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Confidence with drink preparation and basic mixology
  • RSA certified (or willing to obtain one)
  • Energetic, positive, and able to multitask under pressure
  • Availability for evening and weekend shifts
  • Genuine interest in food, culture, and hospitality
