YOUR OPPORTUNITY

At Grant Thornton, our audit process is more than a compliance measure. At the heart of our approach is the belief that our robust, independent audits deliver actionable insights and add substantial value for our clients. We are fiercely independent. We work with ASX-listed companies, privately owned businesses and Not for Profits and take the time to understand the organisation, including its profit drivers and key risks.

In this role, you will use Grant Thornton’s proprietary global audit methodology, the latest technology to drive an efficient and effective audit process which will enable you to gain a wide range of assurance exposure including:

  • Working closely with an internal team from audit planning to field work
  • End to end planning and execution of the External Audit for various clients, both private and listed companies
  • Using your analytical skills to analyse the client's financial statements and ensure they adhere to statutory requirements
  • Preparation of complete and accurate audit work papers
  • Working in a team environment to help meet deadlines and ensure our key deliverables are met

SOUND LIKE YOU?

We’re looking for an agile, responsive individual who brings innovative ideas to the table. Your passion for understanding your clients’ businesses will see you go beyond addressing technical issues to developing actionable growth recommendations.

The following attributes are important to the team;

  • Graduate external audit experience ideally from either a Big 4 or mid-tier professional services firm
  • Commenced your CA/ACCA qualification or overseas equivalent qualification
  • A client centric approach to your work with a curiosity to understand your clients business
  • Strong project and time management skills – ability to handle multiple priorities and projects, organise work and meet deadlines
  • Collaborative and consultative approach with working with diverse stakeholders from Associates up to Partners
  • The confidence to problem solve business risk and testing
  • The salary range for this role will be AUD$65,000 to $85,000 inclusive of superannuation per annum.
