COMPANY

Our client is a market leader within the premium furniture and interiors industry, known for delivering exceptional customer experiences, high-quality products, and beautiful showroom environments.

They offer genuine career progression, invest heavily in their people, and reward performance with an exceptional commission structure.

THE ROLE

As a Sales Consultant, you will be the face of the showroom, providing an exceptional customer experience and expert product knowledge to help customers find the perfect pieces for their homes.

You will take ownership of your own sales performance, working towards KPIs, conversion targets and average transaction values, while contributing to the overall success of the showroom.

This role centres on consultative selling; partnering with customers to support them in making well-informed purchase decisions.

You'll establish trust, identify what customers genuinely need, and guide them with confidence through every stage of the sales process, from initial enquiry through to final purchase.

Success in the role hinges on delivering an outstanding customer experience while reliably meeting and surpassing sales targets.

This is a full-time retail role that requires weekend work as part of the roster.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Deliver exceptional customer service and product knowledge to every customer who walks through the door
  • Use your selling skills to drive and close sales opportunities on a daily and weekly basis
  • Maximise multiple item sales and value-add products (such as care packages and extended warranties) to enhance the customer experience
  • Accurately complete sales paperwork and internal documentation to ensure orders are processed without delay
  • Support the showroom's visual presentation, ensuring it reflects the brand's premium standards
  • Work collaboratively with the team to foster a positive, high-performing showroom culture

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Previous experience within retail or showroom environments
  • Proven success selling premium/high-ticket products or services
  • Strong customer relationship and communication skills
  • Ability to work toward and exceed sales targets
  • A proactive, energetic and accountable personality
  • Available to work weekends as part of a rotating roster (this is essential)

  • Full-time permanent opportunity
  • Competitive salary package
  • Uncapped commission structure
  • Strong promotional calendar and sales periods
  • Strong backend operational support
  • Ongoing training and development
  • A stable, well-established brand
  • Genuine career progression opportunities
  • Join a supportive, high-performing business with amazing culture

The business runs strong promotional campaigns and sales periods throughout the year, creating genuine opportunities for high performers to maximise earnings.
