The role

We are seeking an experienced and driven Regional Sales Manager – Gynaecology to lead and develop a high-performing team of Product Specialists. This is a leadership role focused on delivering strong commercial outcomes, executing strategic growth plans, and driving excellence across a dynamic and evolving product portfolio.

You will play a key role in shaping regional strategy, supporting your team in the field, and building strong relationships with key clinical stakeholders across Australia.

This role is responsible for overseeing a broad regional territory including Victoria, South Australia, Western Australia and Tasmania. Regular interstate travel is required to effectively support and develop your team, engage with key customers, and drive regional performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach and develop a team of Product Specialists to achieve sales targets and business objectives
  • Develop and execute regional sales plans aligned with broader business strategy
  • Build and implement annual business plans to drive revenue growth and market expansion
  • Support new product launches and identify opportunities for portfolio growth
  • Partner closely with the Business Manager on strategy, forecasting and performance tracking
  • Engage and build relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and stakeholders
  • Provide regular insights on market trends, competitor activity and product performance
  • Support team development through training, coaching and clinical education initiatives
  • Travel regularly to support your team across the region

About you

  • Proven experience in a sales leadership role within medical devices, healthcare, or a related field
  • Strong track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate and develop high-performing teams
  • Commercially astute with strong analytical and business planning skills
  • Confident communicator with the ability to build relationships at all levels
  • Experience working with CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce) and sales reporting tools
  • Tertiary qualifications preferred (postgraduate qualifications advantageous)
  • Willingness to travel interstate regularly
