As a Consultant, you like to engage with clients to understand their business needs and tackle business challenges translating them into requirements that can be addressed or improved through Salesforce and other technologies. You deliver innovative solutions using Salesforce to drive successful outcomes for our clients. You enjoy working with teams to bridge the gap between business problems and technical solutions. Your in-depth knowledge of business processes and Salesforce make you a trusted advisor.
Work Setup:
Onsite (5x/week)
About You:
You're the "roll-up-your-sleeves" type who is always willing to take on new and/or bigger challenges. You will be organised, adaptable, and capable of working across multiple projects and timelines. You will be a reliable source of information for each of the teams, with a curious mind, a desire to learn and excellent relationship management skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Seek to understand the client's business processes, pain points, and objectives to define clear and comprehensive requirements.
- This involves workshops, interviews, and documentation.
- Based on gathered requirements, design comprehensive Salesforce solutions, ensuring they are scalable, maintainable, and optimised for performance.
- Adhere to industry best practices and our delivery methodologies.
- Hands-on, configuring the Salesforce platform, including implementing automation using declarative (clicks-not-code) tooling.
- Support developers by reviewing configuration to enhance quality, consistency, and knowledge sharing.
- Support and execute quality assurance of enhancements, testing and assisting the business with UAT.
- Support data migration activities and deployment, including PVT and smoke testing prior to go-live.
- Provide ongoing support, maintenance, and optimisation for deployed solutions as part of Managed Services.
- Ensure high-quality Hypercare post-launch by promptly addressing issues, optimising performance, and implementing enhancements as needed.
- Maintains clear communication with internal team members and client contacts, providing focused updates on project progress and deliverables within their area of responsibility.
- Actively contributes to clarifying expectations and communicates relevant information regarding progress, potential risks, or issues to support effective stakeholder engagement.
- The Salesforce ecosystem evolves rapidly.
- Demonstrate eagerness to continuously learn about new features, functionalities, and best practices to provide the most up-to-date and effective solutions.
- Maintain thorough documentation for all solution components, ensuring future resources can easily understand and modify the solution as required.
- Share experiences and insights with the consulting group, contributing to the development of internal methodologies, templates, and best practices to enhance the company's overall Salesforce expertise.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 3–5 years’ experience as a Salesforce Functional Consultant or similar role Experience gathering requirements through workshops and stakeholder interviews Hands-on Salesforce configuration using declarative tools (Flows, Validation Rules) Ability to translate business requirements into scalable Salesforce solutions.
- Experience supporting testing (SIT/UAT), data migration, and deployment activities.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with clients and internal teams.
- Ability to maintain documentation and follow delivery best practices.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Understanding of applications, relational databases, and web technologies.
- Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
- Exposure to Salesforce or similar CRM platforms (certifications a plus).
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative consulting/support environment.
- Strong interest in continuous learning and staying current with technology trends.
- Active or growing engagement in professional networks or tech communities.
