About the Role

We’re recruiting skilled and personable Brand Ambassadors to represent a premium espresso coffee machine brand in leading retail stores across Australia.

- Maribyrnong

This is not a standard sampling role. You’ll be demonstrating manual and automatic espresso machines, dialing in grinders, extracting espresso, texturing milk, and preparing café-quality samples, all while confidently educating shoppers on product features and benefits.

You’ll play a key role in influencing purchase decisions and driving sales through engaging, consultative conversations.

Program Commencement: Week commencing 16th July 2026 (inclusive of paid training)
Roster: Must be able to commit to Saturdays and Sundays only (must be available all weekend from start of 1st August to 30th August 2026)

What You’ll Be Doing

• Demonstrating manual/semi-automatic espresso machines
• Preparing high-quality espresso-based beverages for sampling
• Explaining product features, functionality and differences between models
• Dialing in grinders and managing extraction variables
• Maintaining equipment cleanliness and brand presentation standards
• Engaging shoppers in consultative conversations to support conversion
• Building strong relationships with in-store retail teams

What We’re Looking For

• Mandatory availability Saturdays and Sundays - 10am to 3pm - from 1st August to 30th August 2026 (times may vary with store)
• Strong barista experience and technical coffee knowledge preferred
• Confidence operating espresso machinery while explaining the process
• Ability to dial in grinders, manage espresso extraction, texture milk and perform basic machine maintenance
• Sales confidence: must be comfortable initiating conversations and guiding customers toward purchase
• Previous experience in demonstrations, retail sales or promotional roles highly regarded
• Professional, well-presented and reliable
• Excellent communication skills
• Must have drivers license and their own vehicle
• Must have food handling certificate or willing to obtain

This role is ideal for experienced baristas who enjoy customer interaction and want consistent weekend work in a structured program.

Job Type: Casual

Pay: $41.72 – $48.67 per hour
