Rosebank College has a proud and varied history of over 150 years as part of the Good Samaritan family established in 1857, and belonging to the Benedictine spiritual and educational tradition founded by St Benedict in the 4th century. About the Role

Rosebank College is seeking a suitably experienced and highly organised Visitor Receptionist (General Office) to join our Administration team for the 2027 school year.

This is a temporary 0.2 FTE position, working Fridays from 8.00 am – 4.00 pm during school term time.

The position forms part of a job-share and flexible work arrangement for 2027 only, with the other employee working Monday to Thursday. The arrangement will conclude at the end of the 2027 school year. There may also be opportunities to undertake additional casual days, subject to the College's operational needs and the employee’s availability.

Reporting to the Dean of Administration, the Visitor Receptionist is an important first point of contact for the College and is responsible for providing a professional, welcoming and responsive service to students, families, staff, visitors and the wider College community.

Key Responsibilities

The successful applicant will:

  • Provide professional front-of-house reception and customer service
  • Welcome and appropriately direct visitors, contractors and deliveries
  • Respond to telephone, email and general enquiries
  • Support the day-to-day administrative operations of the General Office
  • Assist with student attendance and other student administration requirements
  • Provide first aid and support students and staff accessing Sick Bay
  • Maintain accurate records and appropriately manage confidential and sensitive information
  • Support College safeguarding, WHS and emergency procedures
  • Work collaboratively with the job-share partner and Administration team to ensure continuity of service across the week

Applicants must hold a current Working with Children Check, First Aid and CPR certification. Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualifications are highly regarded.
